got some familiar faces - Klosterman, Moffat, Boltnar (of course), Armin, Dombrowski, Sindlinger - That makes six returning players. Good core group from last year to build on.

Klosterman is always a strong presence in defense (can you say: Klosterman 5 - Eddie Johnson 0 :D), Boltnar is always great organizing the offense. Armin will get in their for the quick strikes. Much apologizes to Dombrowski and Sindlinger, I didn't really get to know them last year so i cannot really talk about their abilities beyond knowing that, as being returning menace players, they obviously have some talent.

fire in the Open Cup final

For those of us who are Fire Fans we got sweet revenge against KC when Fire eliminated KC from the Open Cup - now Fire is in the final. Hopefully this will be their FIFTH USOC title! Cheer them on on wednesday.

FYI: I will be recording the game on my PVR

A reliable source informs MenaceFans.com that we will be hosting the 1st round of the Championships on Friday and Saturday July 28th and 29th.

Boulder vs TBD at 6pm Friday
Menace v Chicago Fire Premier at 8:30pm Friday

The Winners from the above matches play each other at 7:30 pm Saturday the 29th
